Qualified Finance Manager

Central London

£60,000 – £75,000 basic plus benefits

Barnes Roffe Recruitment has partnered with a highly regarded, International Workplace Solutions business, which has an enviable reputation for being market leaders in their field. With further anticipated growth forecast, they are looking to strengthen their Finance function, with 2 Finance Manager openings.

As a Qualified Finance Manager, you will report into the Group Finance Director and will be based at their UK Head Office in Central London.

Responsibilities:

  • This role will ensure full responsibility of all day-to-day financial matters for the European companies, including preparation of monthly management accounts for two entities to strict deadlines.
  • Preparation of monthly management accounts for all UK companies
  • Production of monthly group consolidated management accounts.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards.
  • Cash flow management including weekly rolling cash forecasts.
  • Finalising weekly supplier payment runs.
  • Leading discussion with suppliers to increase credit terms offered in conjunction with the accounts payable staff.
  • Weekly/monthly bank reconciliations for all accounts.
  • Preparation of monthly reconciliations of balance sheet items including maintenance of fixed asset registers.
  • Processing of any intercompany sales invoices.
  • Preparation of monthly reconciliations of balance sheet items including maintenance of fixed asset registers.
  • Preparation of monthly payroll data ready for submission to payroll bureau.
  • Calculation of all staff bonus and commission payments.
  • Preparation of year end audit file.
  • Liaise with external accountants, customers, suppliers and banks as required.
  • Management and development of finance team members.
  • Develop and refine processes to build efficiencies within the team and its outputs.
  • Assist in the development of KPI’s to manage team and business performance.
  • Any other duties as required by the Group Finance Director.

Knowledge, Skills, Qualifications & Experience:

  • ACA, ACCA or CIMA Qualified
  • Minimum 2 years post qualified experience ideally in a similar role.
  • Experience of managing a team.
  • Excellent IT skills including Excel.
  • Able to work under pressure and to tight deadlines, particularly during month end.
  • Experience using Business Central Dynamics 365 (preferred but not essential).
  • hybrid working available (3 days in the office) is available.
