Meet our team
I have 15 years’ recruitment experience gained within Banking/Financial Services with my main specialism being the Leasing/Asset Finance industry. In 2018, I joined an award-winning Recruitment Consultancy where I successfully built and developed this niche vertical for them. I thoroughly enjoyed my time there and I learnt a lot but I always had ambitions of setting up my own recruitment business and I am incredibly excited to be doing this now.
I achieved a 2.1 degree in Business Management, which included modules in Accounting, Economics, Marketing and Business Law. This gave me a great foundation of knowledge for the Financial Services world. After graduation (and then intense working/saving), I went backpacking with friends around the world for 6 months. This was a once in a lifetime experience that gave me a real insight into diverse cultures – something that has resonated with me as we help to build an Inclusive workplace for our clients and ourselves.
I have always worked with honesty and integrity with a transparent approach to recruitment, which I believe is a key reason why I have built such an established network of Clients and Candidates. This philosophy is also shared by the Consultants at James George Recruitment as we look to work in partnership with you for a number of years.
The name James George Recruitment has a special meaning for me as it’s named after my two young sons. They will always be the key motivation for me to work as hard as I do and to ensure that the business is a real success!
Nicola is a recruitment professional with over 20 years’ experience providing a range of services and working with clients across a number of industries including professional and financial services.
She possesses excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a proven ability to develop good working relationships with clients, candidates and colleagues and prides herself as an experienced recruiter who excels in creating a motivational working environment ensuring the highest standards are always achieved.
Nicola’s experience includes over 4 years working “in house” for Barnes Roffe, successfully leading numerous recruitment campaigns and placing high calibre candidates into positions they really enjoy.
Outside of work, Nicola is a keen runner and has taken part in the London Marathon.
