Job Description

Role: New Business Development Manager

Location: United Kingdom (Remote)

Salary: 70-80k + bonus + excellent benefits

James George Recruitment has partnered with a prestigious Tier 1 Asset Finance House that is looking to add an experienced Business Development Manager with a direct route to market. The role is completely remote and can be done from anywhere in the UK, and is a fantastic opportunity to join a company with great career development!

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify, scope, prioritise and target potential key customers within mid-large corporate market.
  • Develop a prospect list and identify prospective customers, developing and executing a prospect plan to gain new clients.
  • Be part of a highly networked international matrix environment.
  • Use your creativity and structuring knowledge to develop customer relevant solutions including non-interest income solutions.
  • manage complex and structured accounts and you will work collaboratively with our risk team and other internal functions.
  • Work with internal stakeholders closely to develop any of their identified opportunities.
  • You will use your experience and finely honed relationship building capability at senior levels in organisations to build long lasting partnerships with the company.
  • Be an excellent team player.
  • Be comfortable preparing and presenting documentation for review in credit and risk approval committees.

Your profile:

  • 5+ asset finance industry, mainly in mid-large corporate.
  • Proven track record of building new business.
  • Excellent risk assessment skills.
  • Strong team player with a “can do” attitude and growth mindset.
  • Solid influencer and excellent in (remote) stakeholder management, able to effectively navigate on all organisational levels.
  • Strong change leader with robust negotiation and influencing skills.
  • Excellent business English (both spoken and written).
