Finance Operations Manager – 6 month contract

A well-established and growing Investment Management company is seeking a Finance Operations Manager to support its Private Credit platform. This role has responsibility for the operational oversight and control of a large (£1bn+), multi-sector loan and leasing portfolio.

Working closely with Finance, Investment, Risk, Legal and Technology teams, the role combines hands-on loan servicing oversight, cash and reconciliation management, and continuous improvement of controls and processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Day-to-day oversight of loan and lease servicing across the full lifecycle
• Ownership of bank, loanbook and system reconciliations, including unallocated cash
• Management of DD runs, collections and exception handling
• Operational oversight of participations, deal sharing and intercompany cashflows
• Maintenance of strong controls, SOPs and audit support
• Driving process improvement, automation and system change initiatives
• Providing MI and acting as an escalation point for complex operational issues

Experience Required

• Qualified or part-qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA) or equivalent experience
• Strong background in loan operations / financial operations within financial services
• Experience in private credit, asset finance, leasing or structured lending preferred
• Proven reconciliation, cash management and lending system experience
• Advanced Excel skills
