James George Recruitment is partnering with a leading international provider of equipment and vendor finance.
We are looking for an experienced External Relationship Manager to develop and manage relationships with vendors, dealers, resellers and brokers, driving sustainable growth across the indirect channel. This is a field-based, client-facing role with regular travel and close collaboration with internal teams. Attendance at a key client’s City office is required two days per week, so candidates based in South East England are preferred.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and manage strong partner and customer relationships through regular face-to-face engagement
- Act as the main point of contact for indirect partners
- Drive new business through lead management, deal structuring, pricing and negotiation
- Promote the organisation’s finance solutions and value proposition
- Deliver partner presentations and sales training
- Assess credit risk and prepare high-quality proposals in line with policy and regulation
- Maintain accurate pipeline reporting and monitor partner performance
Skills & Experience
- Proven business development experience within asset finance or leasing
- Strong understanding of asset finance products, regulation and risk
- Commercially minded with strong negotiation and analytical skills
- Excellent communication and relationship management abilities
