James George Recruitment has partnered with a prestigious Asset Finance House in their search for a Sales Support Manager in Essex. We are keen to speak with focused individuals who have excellent leadership qualities to motivate and drive the Sales Support department.

Duties and Responsibilities

As Sales Support Manager, you’ll oversee the day-to-day operation of the team, ensuring SLAs and deadlines are reached. Other duties and responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

  • Ensuring a high standard of excellence in your team’s service to brokers and customers
  • Managing the performance and development of team individuals
  • Managing and tracking daily workloads
  • Being involved in escalated or large sales deals, including authorisation of bank payments for high-value payouts
  • Providing updates on performance and month-end projections to senior management
  • Ensuring the team are working within company policies and procedures, as well as together


To succeed in navigating this Sales Support team, you must of course have excellent communication and leadership skills. The successful candidate will also have:

  • Extensive experience in sales support
  • Excellent decision-making skills
  • Motivational qualities and experience in people management
  • Advanced organizational and time management skills
  • The ability and determination to manage high workloads
  • Proven experience within the asset finance industry
