Purchase Ledger Clerk

Halstead, Essex

James George Recruitment have partnered exclusively with a highly successful Business that have instructed us to find a Purchase Ledger Clerk to join their team.

Key responsibilities:

  • Liaise with all other Group departments/depots as required to facilitate the above
  • Posting all supplier invoices to the accounting system promptly upon receipt ensuring correct allocation to Purchase Order and Goods Received Notes as well as scanning to the Document Management System
  • Liaise with suppliers to resolve any queries
  • Seek all necessary approvals and authorisation to pass invoices for prompt payment
  • Ensure all cash entries are accurately posted and correctly allocated
  • Ensure all filed documents are done so accurately and in a timely manner

Key requirements:

  • Circa 1 years’ experience is preferred
  • Sage accounting software (preferably line 1000)

Good to know:

  • Office-based role
  • Permanent full time role
  • Working hours are Monday to Friday 8am to 5pm
  • Start date 1st August 2022 (preferred)
