Job Description

Payroll Administrator 
Chelmsford, Essex 
£24,000 – £27,000 

James George Recruitment have partnered with a highly successful and international player with an annual turnover across Europe of over £80 million. 

They have instructed us to find a Payroll Administrator to join their team based in Chelmsford. 

Key responsibilities: 

  • Processing weekly and monthly payrolls for various companies within the group 
  • Setting up new employees making sure that all paperwork is in order 
  • Ensuring relevant timesheets are received, collated and necessary adjustments made 
  • Annual leave calculations for starters and leavers 
  • Submitting FPS (and EPS) returns to HMRC 
  • Calculating payroll values and inputting to the system 
  • Submitting pension data to the pension providers 
  • Uploading the payslips electronically 
  • Running various payroll reports from the system and filing onto the server 

Key requirements: 

  • Experience using SAGE 50 Payroll and Micropay 
  • Minimum 2 years of payroll administration experience
