Junior Accountant

Halstead, Essex
Salary £25,000 to £30,000 + Study support

James George Recruitment have partnered exclusively with a highly successful Business that have instructed us to find a Junior Accountant to join their Finance department.

Key responsibilities:

  • Producing the monthly management accounts in line with the deadlines set
  • Ensuring that all balance sheet items are fully reconciled on a monthly basis
  • Posting relevant nominal journals as required
  • Contributing towards the year end audit
  • Updating and improving the management accounts reporting pack
  • Overseeing the work of a finance assistant
  • Ensuring that accounting transactions are recorded accurately and in a timely professional manner
  • Assisting and carrying out internal audit processes
  • Working within the Company Guidelines at all time

Key requirements:

  • ACCA part-qualified
  • Sage accounting software (preferably line 1000)

Good to know:

  • ACCA study support
  • Working hours are Monday to Friday 8am to 5pm
