Chief Finance Officer

£150,000 – £200,000 Basic plus excellent package including strong share options

James George Recruitment have partnered with a prestigious Financial Services Business in their search for a new CFO. The role will report directly to the CEO and you will be responsible for implementing and managing the strategic and operational aims of the business.

You will be responsible for:

• Providing executive leadership with direct reporting from heads of department and finance support/ accounting function.
• Attending weekly/monthly board and exec meetings presenting the lending business progress and reporting.
• Developing and maintaining the strategic and financial planning of the lending business including completing all of the required reporting to investors and funders.
• Successful revisions of the annual budget and 5 year strategic and financial plan for the lending business.

Requirements:

• Qualified Accountant with at least 3 years’ experience in senior management positions
• Excellent understanding of B2B and B2C environment
• Retail Point of Sale Finance business or other loan/lease customer receivables business is strongly preferred.
• Good relationship management abilities in the handling of external funders, investors, advisors, bankers and lawyers and other stakeholders
